Where the rates you see actually come from
Teladoc owns BetterHelp. BetterHelp runs a large affiliate program on Impact, managed by an outside agency, and that agency states affiliate marketing is BetterHelp’s second largest source of new paying members.
If a roundup lists “Teladoc” with a commission rate, it is almost certainly describing BetterHelp’s program and attributing it to the parent company. Those are different programs with different terms, and only one of them accepts publishers.
What BetterHelp publishes
Not a rate. Its agency page describes “competitive commission structures” without a number, and the cookie window is not published either. Figures circulating for BetterHelp, including a widely repeated “up to $150 per referral,” come from a directory whose own disclaimer says the figures may vary.
The one thing worth knowing before promoting it: BetterHelp operates under a 2023 FTC consent order concerning health data sharing for advertising. Expect unusually strict creative and data handling terms even though those terms are not public.
