What the price includes
- The medication itself, dispensed by a licensed compounding pharmacy
- Clinical review by a US state-licensed clinician

- Ongoing messaging with the clinical team while you are on treatment
- Adjustments to your prescription if your clinician decides one is appropriate
What it does not include
- Bloodwork. Some treatments require lab testing before a clinician will prescribe, and lab costs are separate.
- The initial health assessment, which is priced separately and shown in the table above.
- Anything your own doctor orders outside our platform.
Why some three-month plans save far more than others
The saving is not uniform, and it is worth understanding before you commit to a longer term.
On testosterone treatments the three month price works out around seven percent below the monthly rate, because the underlying cost is fairly flat. On sermorelin the same commitment works out closer to a third cheaper. The difference comes down to the cost of the compounded preparation and how it is dispensed, not to how much we would like you to commit.
If a longer term does not suit you, the monthly price is a real price and not a penalty rate. We publish both so you can see the actual gap rather than being told a percentage.
Does insurance cover any of this?
Generally not, and you should assume not. Compounded medications are usually not covered by commercial insurance, and telehealth platforms in this category typically operate outside insurance entirely. Some people are able to use HSA or FSA funds. That depends on your plan and on your situation, and it is worth checking with your administrator rather than taking our word for it.
The practical consequence is that the price you see is the price you pay, which is also why publishing it matters.
What to check when comparing providers
Price alone is a poor way to choose in this category, because the cheapest headline number often excludes things that show up later. A checklist that is worth running against any provider, including us:
- Is the monthly price the full price? Ask specifically whether consultation, shipping and follow-up are included or billed separately.
- Is bloodwork required, and who pays? Some providers require labs and bill them separately. Some require them and do not say so until after you have paid.
- What happens if the clinician says no? Ask whether the assessment fee is refunded if you are not an appropriate candidate. This is a fair question and a provider should answer it plainly.
- Is the pharmacy named, and is it licensed in your state? You are entitled to know who is compounding your medication.
- Is the provider LegitScript certified? It is not a guarantee of anything clinical, but it is a baseline check that the operation is what it says it is.
- Can you cancel? Find the cancellation terms before you subscribe, not after.
- Are the prices published at all? A provider that will not tell you the cost until you have handed over your details has made a choice about who that arrangement benefits.
How compounded medication pricing works
A compounded medication is prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient, rather than manufactured at scale as a finished commercial product. That is why pricing does not track the list price of a branded drug, and why two providers offering what sounds like the same thing can differ substantially.
The things that genuinely move the price are the concentration and volume dispensed, the route of administration, how many months are dispensed at once, and the pharmacy doing the compounding. The things that should not move the price, but sometimes do, are marketing spend and how many intermediaries sit between the pharmacy and you.

Do I pay before or after speaking to a clinician?
The health assessment is completed first. A treatment is only dispensed if a state-licensed clinician reviews your information and decides it is appropriate for you.
Is there a cheaper option than the ones listed?
What is listed is what we offer. If the answer for you is that a treatment is not affordable right now, that is a legitimate answer and we would rather you knew it before starting an intake form.
Why do you publish prices when most competitors do not?
Because the alternative is asking people to hand over personal health information before finding out whether they can afford the thing they are enquiring about. We do not think that is a reasonable trade.
