Cheapest GLP-1 Without Insurance (2026): Brand and Compounded Prices Compared

Cheapest GLP-1 without insurance in October 2026: brand cash prices and compounded telehealth plans in one dated table, checked on each company's site.

A woman in her 40s comparing prices on a laptop at a dining table with a calculator and notebook.

Disclosure: PrescribedRX sells its own treatments, so we compete with some of the companies covered here, and we may earn affiliate commissions.

Short answer: Looking for the cheapest GLP-1 without insurance? In October 2026 the lowest sticker prices come from compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide sold by telehealth companies. The lowest brand-name prices are the manufacturers’ own cash programs, where the Wegovy pill and Foundayo start at $149 and prices rise with the dose. Before you compare “per month” headlines, check the price per order, how often you are billed, whether a membership is extra and whether the price is an intro offer.

Every price here is as listed on each company’s own site in October 2026. Prices change often, so confirm before you pay. How our own GLP-1 weight loss plans are billed is covered further down, including where others list lower prices.

What are the lowest GLP-1 prices without insurance in October 2026?

Prices checked on October 16, 2026, on each company’s own site. “Month” means whatever each company defines it as, so the billing column shows each company’s own wording.

Two things stand out. Several compounded providers list lower prices than PrescribedRX, including Mochi’s low dose tiers (plus membership), Ozari One and Shed’s longer plans. And the lowest brand-name prices are for starting doses only.

What is the lowest price for a brand-name GLP-1?

Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk sell their GLP-1s directly to cash-pay patients with a prescription.

Zepbound vials and pens through LillyDirect

As listed on Lilly’s site in October 2026, Zepbound vials are $299 for the 2.5 mg starting dose and $399 for 5 mg. The 7.5 mg to 15 mg doses are $449 only if you refill within 45 days; later refills are listed at $499 for 7.5 mg and $699 for 10 to 15 mg (LillyDirect: Zepbound). Needles and syringes for the vials are extra.

Lilly lists the Zepbound KwikPen at the same $299, $399 and $449 prices with the same 45-day rule (Zepbound savings page). Each fill covers 28 days. Zepbound is Lilly’s brand-name tirzepatide (Zepbound Prescribing Information).

Wegovy pens and pills through NovoCare Pharmacy

As listed on NovoCare’s site in October 2026, a box of 4 Wegovy pens is $349 from 0.25 mg to 2.4 mg, and $399 for the 7.2 mg HD dose. New patients can get the 0.25 mg and 0.5 mg doses for $199 for their first 2 fills, through December 31, 2026 (NovoCare: Wegovy).

The Wegovy pill is $149 for 1.5 mg, $199 for 4 mg and $299 for 9 mg and 25 mg, per 30 tablets.

What is the lowest-priced brand-name GLP-1 pill?

The Wegovy pill (1.5 mg) and Foundayo (0.8 mg) are both listed at $149. Foundayo, an oral GLP-1 from Lilly, also lists 2.5 mg at $149 and 5.5 mg at $199 as temporary prices through December 31, 2026. Its 9 mg dose is $299, and the 14.5 mg and 17.2 mg doses are $299 if refilled within 45 days. Lilly does not publish the late-refill price for those doses (LillyDirect: Foundayo).

Branded GLP-1s through Ro and Hims

Some telehealth companies sell branded GLP-1s plus a membership. As listed on Ro’s site in October 2026, the Ro Body membership is $39 for the first month, then $149/mo, or as low as $74/mo when prepaid annually. Medication is extra (Ro weight loss). Ro’s Zepbound page lists the KwikPen at $499 for 7.5 to 15 mg, but its own FAQ says “$299 to $449”, so the two figures on its site differ (Ro Zepbound cost page).

As listed on Hims’s site in October 2026, medication runs from $149 (pill) to $299 (Zepbound), plus a membership of $39 for the first month, then $149/mo (Hims weight loss). See our Hims weight loss pricing review.

Which compounded GLP-1 plans list the lowest prices online?

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are prepared by pharmacies, not by the brand-name manufacturers, and they are not the same products as Wegovy or Zepbound. Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies and are not FDA-approved. The table above has the prices; here is what to check with each, as listed in October 2026.

  • Mochi Health. The lowest headline prices, but they apply to low doses only, and the membership is extra (Mochi FAQ).
  • Ozari Health. Ozari One is a quarterly charge and is not offered in California. Ozari Select lists one price for every dose (Ozari plans).
  • Shed. One price at every dose, but the lowest monthly figures need a 6 or 12-month plan, and Shed does not say whether those are prepaid.
  • Henry Meds. The $197/mo rate needs a 12-month plan paid upfront. Henry lists a $30 consult fee per prescribing evaluation, and its policy says you may owe the balance of a multi-month plan if you cancel (Henry Meds weight management, Henry Meds policy). See our Henry Meds pricing review.
  • MEDVi. The site lists different figures for compounded semaglutide: $149 for the first month then $299/mo on its main sign-up page, and “$166/mo price-locked” on another page. Expect a range of $149 to $299 (MEDVi).
  • TrimRx. The homepage “from” prices are lower than the first-month and ongoing prices in its Terms. Expect $179 to $299 for semaglutide and $259 to $399 for tirzepatide (TrimRx terms).

How do you compare GLP-1 prices fairly?

A “per month” headline can hide a lot. Use these five checks, with each company’s own numbers.

  • Price per order. Find the amount charged each time. “$140/mo” may be one charge for 3 months; “$159/mo” may need a 12-month plan.
  • Billing cadence, as the company states it. Brand fills cover 28 or 30 days, Ozari bills monthly or quarterly, and PrescribedRX bills every 3 months. Read the cadence next to the price.
  • Intro price vs ongoing price. MEDVi lists $149 for the first month, then $299. TrimRx’s terms list a lower first month too. NovoCare’s $199 Wegovy offer covers 2 fills for new patients. Plan around the ongoing price.
  • Membership fees. Mochi, Ro and Hims charge a membership on top of medication. Ozari, Shed and PrescribedRX list a single plan price.
  • Dose-based pricing. Brand prices rise as your dose goes up, and so do Mochi’s tiers. Shed, Ozari and PrescribedRX list the same price at every dose. Your provider sets your dose, so ask what it will cost at higher doses.

What is the cheapest tirzepatide online?

For brand-name tirzepatide, the lowest listed price is Zepbound from LillyDirect at $299 for the 2.5 mg starting dose. That rises to $399 at 5 mg and $449 at 7.5 mg and up with an on-time refill, or more if you refill late (LillyDirect).

For compounded tirzepatide, the lowest figures in our table are Mochi’s low-dose tier (from $90/mo plus membership), Ozari One ($375 every 3 months, not in CA) and Shed’s 12-month plan ($239/mo). MEDVi and TrimRx list different figures on different pages. PrescribedRX lists: 3 month plan $597 · $199/mo · Billed every 3 months. Cancel anytime.

Ozari Select’s quarterly price and ours share the same $597 sticker, and both are billed every 3 months. For a deeper look at our own numbers, read the full tirzepatide price breakdown, or learn what compounded tirzepatide is and how it differs from Zepbound.

What hidden costs should you check before you buy?

Beyond membership fees, dose-based prices and intro offers, watch for these:

  • Refill-timing rules. Lilly’s $449 price for higher Zepbound doses needs a refill within 45 days.
  • Extras. Needles and syringes for Zepbound vials, and Henry Meds’s $30 consult fee.
  • Prepay lock-ins and cancellation rules. Henry Meds says you may owe the balance on multi-month plans; MEDVi asks you to cancel 72 hours before billing.

How does PrescribedRX pricing work?

PrescribedRX does not list the lowest prices in the table above. Here is how our plans appear on the site:

A few things are the same on both plans:

  • The same price at every dose. Your provider sets the dose.
  • No membership fee. Free priority shipping. Self-pay only.
  • Billing is shown next to the price. Orders renew every 3 months; cancel before a renewal date to avoid the next charge.
  • A licensed provider reviews your intake, typically within 48 hours. Prescriptions come from state-licensed clinicians through Telegra MD and are filled by licensed partner pharmacies. PrescribedRX is a telehealth platform, not a pharmacy.

You can see what every treatment costs on one page. Availability varies by state.

FAQ

What is the lowest-priced brand-name GLP-1?

As listed in October 2026, the Wegovy pill (1.5 mg) through NovoCare and Foundayo (0.8 mg) through LillyDirect are both $149 for the starting dose. Prices rise with the dose, up to $299. The lowest branded injectable price is Zepbound at $299, for the 2.5 mg starting dose only.

Is there a GLP-1 with no membership fee?

Yes. LillyDirect and NovoCare sell their drugs without a membership. Among compounded plans in our table, Ozari, Shed and PrescribedRX list a single plan price with no separate membership.

What happens after intro pricing ends?

You pay the ongoing price. As listed in October 2026, MEDVi goes from $149 to $299/mo, and NovoCare’s $199 Wegovy offer covers 2 fills before the $349 price applies. Budget for the ongoing price.

How can I tell if a GLP-1 provider is legitimate?

Check that a licensed clinician writes the prescription, a licensed pharmacy fills it, and the company says clearly whether the drug is compounded or brand-name. Ask which pharmacy fills your order and look up its license with that state’s board of pharmacy.

Is compounded semaglutide the same as Wegovy?

No. Wegovy is Novo Nordisk’s brand-name semaglutide. Compounded semaglutide is prepared by a pharmacy and is a different product.
