Disclosure: PrescribedRX sells its own treatments, so we compete with some of the companies covered here, and we may earn affiliate commissions.

Short answer: Mochi Health is a San Francisco telehealth company whose affiliated medical practices prescribe weight loss medications, including brand-name GLP-1s and compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. As listed on joinmochi.com in October 2026, the membership costs $79 for 1 month, with longer prepaid terms, and medication is billed separately by dose, starting at $60 for compounded semaglutide and $90 for compounded tirzepatide. Below, this Mochi Health review covers what Mochi offers, how the process works, its refund terms and how it compares with other GLP-1 options.

This review covers Mochi Health’s weight loss program at joinmochi.com. Unless noted, every Mochi price, term and quote below is as listed on Mochi’s site in October 2026.

What is Mochi Health, and who runs it?

Mochi Health Corp. runs the platform. Its refund page says medical services come from “licensed physicians and clinicians affiliated with independently owned and operated professional practices,” and that Mochi Health Corp. “provides administrative and technology services” and “does not provide any professional medical services itself.” Mochi’s FAQ says its providers are board certified in specialties such as internal medicine, family medicine, endocrinology and bariatric surgery.

What does Mochi prescribe for weight loss?

Mochi’s FAQ lists medications its providers prescribe, including tirzepatide (Mounjaro and Zepbound), semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic and Rybelsus), liraglutide, topiramate, bupropion, naltrexone and orlistat. It also offers compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide (Mochi semaglutide page). Mochi’s pages do not name the pharmacies that fill its compounded orders; they say you can “Choose a pharmacy you trust.”

How much does Mochi Health cost in 2026?

Mochi charges a membership fee and, separately, a medication fee. Its compounded medication pages say, “Cost of medication not included in Mochi Health Membership Fee.”

Mochi compounded semaglutide: price by dose

Mochi’s FAQ says, “Mochi prices by dose,” and “Compounded semaglutide starts as low as $60/month.” Its semaglutide page lists these prices for each weekly dose, plus the membership.

Weekly dosePrice as listed
0.22 mg$60
0.44 mg$70
0.88 mg$82
1.5 mg$92
2.21 mg$96
2.67 mg$99

Mochi’s page also lists higher doses at higher prices; check the page for the dose your provider prescribes.

Mochi compounded tirzepatide: price by dose

The FAQ says compounded tirzepatide starts “as low as $90/month.” The tirzepatide page lists these prices for each weekly dose, plus the membership.

Weekly dosePrice as listed
2.2 mg$90
4.4 mg$119
6.6 mg$144
8.8 mg$174
11.24 mg$184
13.2 mg$194
16.6 mg$199

Other prices on Mochi’s pages

The same two pages also show a summary box. On the semaglutide page it reads “Medication: $146 per 3-month supply, billed once.” On the tirzepatide page the medication line reads “$236 per 3-month supply, billed once.” The pages do not say which dose those figures cover, so ask Mochi which dose and supply length your quote is for before you pay.

The FAQ says shipping is included in medication prices and that an HSA or FSA account can be used for membership payments. For other providers’ prices side by side, see GLP-1 prices without insurance and what compounded tirzepatide costs.

Does Mochi Health take insurance?

Mochi’s FAQ says coverage depends on your carrier, plan and employer, and that its team checks coverage and handles prior authorizations. It says insurers have 30 days to respond to a prior authorization and that a medication must be on your plan’s formulary to be covered.

How does the Mochi Health process work, step by step?

Mochi’s FAQ and medication pages describe these steps:

  • Share your health history. Complete intake forms on medications, nutrition and conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure.
  • Video visit. Mochi says the first visit should happen “within one week of signing up,” and its medication pages describe a 30-minute video visit with a provider.
  • Prescription, if appropriate. Mochi’s medication pages say the video visit is used “to match you to the medication that fits your medical history and goals.”
  • Ongoing care. The FAQ describes four phases: starting medication, ongoing virtual visits, treatment adjustments, and a lab recheck with maintenance planning.

How PrescribedRX GLP-1 intake works, for comparison

At PrescribedRX, you complete an online intake and a licensed provider decides whether treatment is appropriate for you. Prescriptions are written through Telegra MD and filled by licensed partner pharmacies. PrescribedRX is a telehealth platform, not a pharmacy. It is self-pay with no insurance and no separate membership fee, and availability varies by state. You can check GLP-1 eligibility before you start.

Mochi refund and cancellation terms, in plain English

Mochi’s refund page says it “cannot accept returns or issue refunds for prescription medications” and that “all prescription sales are final.” Its Terms of Use, updated September 22, 2026, add:

  • “We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods,” although Mochi may refund case by case at its discretion.
  • Membership and medication subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
  • Emailing hello@joinmochi.com “is NOT an acceptable way” to cancel. The Terms point to cancelling in your account or by phone at (619) 648-1247.
  • Cancelling the membership takes effect at the end of the current term and also cancels medication subscriptions that require a paid membership.
  • After cancelling, your account reverts to a no-cost membership tier, which does not include one-on-one video visits.
  • Disputes go to binding individual arbitration, with a class-action waiver, unless you opt out under Section 12.

Cons

  • Membership and medication are billed separately
  • Prescription sales are final; no refunds for partly used subscription periods
  • Email is not an accepted way to cancel
  • Summary boxes show 3-month medication prices without saying which dose they cover

How does Mochi compare with other GLP-1 providers?

Here is what each company listed on its own site in October 2026. PrescribedRX is one of the options, and we sell it, so read our row with that in mind.

An alternative to Mochi: PrescribedRX GLP-1 plans

Mochi prices medication by dose and charges a separate membership. PrescribedRX lists 3-month compounded plans with no separate membership fee:

Mochi Health FAQ

How much does Mochi Health cost per month?

As listed on joinmochi.com in October 2026, the membership is $79 for 1 month, or $207, $354 or $588 for 3, 6 or 12 months. Medication is extra and priced by dose: compounded semaglutide from $60 and compounded tirzepatide from $90.

Does Mochi offer brand-name semaglutide?

Yes. Alongside compounded semaglutide, Mochi’s FAQ lists brand-name semaglutide products, such as Wegovy, Ozempic and Rybelsus, and says its team checks insurance coverage and handles prior authorizations.

Can I cancel Mochi and get a refund?

You can cancel in your account or by phone, and Mochi’s Terms say emailing support is not a valid cancellation. Membership and medication subscriptions are separate. Mochi says prescription sales are final and it does not refund partly used subscription periods, except case by case.

Bottom line on Mochi Health

Mochi publishes its membership prices and a dose-by-dose price list for compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, and its FAQ lists brand-name drugs with help on insurance. Membership and medication are billed separately, and Mochi’s Terms limit refunds.

If you go ahead, confirm your dose, medication price and membership length at checkout, and cancel through the methods Mochi’s Terms name. To weigh more options first, compare online weight loss programs.
