TrimRx Review 2026: Cost, How It Works and Alternatives

TrimRx review for 2026: what it offers, how the process works, first-month vs follow-up pricing, refund terms, and GLP-1 alternatives on dated prices.

Disclosure: PrescribedRX sells its own treatments, so we compete with some of the companies covered here, and we may earn affiliate commissions.

Short answer: TrimRx is a San Diego telehealth platform where outside networks of licensed clinicians prescribe compounded semaglutide or compounded tirzepatide for weight loss. As listed on its site in October 2026, it advertises GLP-1 plans “starting at $179,” while its Terms list $199 for the first month and $299 after that. Below, our TrimRx review covers what it offers, how the process works, what it costs and how it compares with other GLP-1 options.

Unless we give another date, every TrimRx price, term and quote below is as listed on TrimRx’s site in October 2026. Because we sell competing GLP-1 plans, our own prices appear in the alternatives table too, labeled clearly.

What is TrimRx, and who runs it?

TrimRx’s homepage footer says TrimRx “is not a medical practice or a pharmacy” and does not employ health care providers. Clinical care comes from networks of U.S.-licensed clinicians that TrimRx works with.

TrimRx’s Terms and Conditions give an address at 12636 High Bluff Drive, Suite 400, San Diego, California 92130, and say the terms are governed by U.S. and California law. TrimRx describes its compounded medications as prepared and shipped by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy. Its public pages do not name an operating company or its pharmacies, as of October 2026.

What TrimRx offers for weight loss

TrimRx sells two compounded injection plans:

  • GLP-1: compounded semaglutide
  • GLP-1 + GIP: compounded tirzepatide

How much does TrimRx cost?

TrimRx shows prices on several pages. Here is what each showed in October 2026.

TrimRx first month vs every month after

The Terms set out what you pay over time. For GLP-1 (compounded semaglutide), they list $199 for the first month and $299 for each follow-up month. For GLP-1 + GIP (compounded tirzepatide), they list $349 for the first month and $399 after that. Subscriptions are billed automatically, according to the Terms. It is worth confirming which price your second charge will be before you pay.

Does the TrimRx price change with your dose?

TrimRx says no. The homepage says your treatment cost “remains steady, even as your dose changes,” and the promo page says, “We don’t charge you based on dosage changes.” This describes dose changes, not the move from the first-month price to the follow-up price.

TrimRx multi-month plans and refunds

TrimRx offers prepaid multi-month plans. The Terms say you can cancel future orders, and a refund of the unused prepaid part must be requested within 28 days of payment. Once a prescription goes to the pharmacy, that order is filled. Supplements are not refundable.

For a sense of how 3-month pricing compares, see our page on compounded tirzepatide pricing.

Is there a TrimRx promo code?

This page does not list promo codes. TrimRx’s own promo landing page, viewed in October 2026, showed a discount already applied, “As low as $149/month,” and no field to enter a code (TrimRx promo page). The discount appears to be built into the landing-page price, so check the renewal price at checkout.

How does the TrimRx process work, step by step?

Based on TrimRx’s homepage and FAQs:

  • Take the quiz. A 2-minute online health quiz.
  • Provider review. A licensed provider reviews your answers, with a short telehealth call “if additional consultation is needed.”
  • Medication ships. If prescribed, medication is “shipped monthly.” Refills are handled through the patient portal.
  • Support and cancelling. The FAQ lists phone support 7 days a week, 6am to 6pm Pacific, and says you can cancel by chat or phone.

How PrescribedRX intake works, for comparison

At PrescribedRX, you complete an online intake and a licensed provider decides whether treatment is appropriate for you. Prescriptions are written through Telegra MD and filled by licensed partner pharmacies. GLP-1 plans are 3-month orders billed every 3 months. PrescribedRX is a telehealth platform, not a pharmacy, and availability varies by state. You can review GLP-1 eligibility first.
